Camelia Blues redux
Vision of ephemeral botanicals and timeless fundamentals
Enthralled by roses: as canopies, and as submerged, both alone and attended.
“With my senses, as with birds, I climb into the windy heaven, out of the oak, in the ponds broken off from the sky my falling sinks, as if standing on fishes.”

FAIRFIELD STORIES COMMUNITY MURAL
The Fairfield Gonzales Community Association sponsored the Fairfield Stories Community Mural, created in collaboration with artist Carolyn Knight and inspired by Garry Oak meadows, cycles of nature, (especially water and seeds) and our connections to community and place. Community art workshops produced amazing artworks, many of which are incorporated in the mural.
Creating the photo illustration/montage for this striking piece, (sized 4' x 16' now installed next to Sir James Douglas School), was both a pleasure and a challenge.

Re-BRANDING BC TRANSIT
Unusual for an in-house designer, the opportunity to create a new logo for BC Transit was irresistible and very rewarding. The process of re-designing and refreshing the corporate identity and working to establish the art direction for the future look of publications, signage and the provincial fleet was a very collaborative process and reflected the clarity and purpose of the organization itself.
